Hants & Sussex operated the 14 service at Fareham between the Market and Catisfield post Office until 1954. They used lowbridge Leyland PD1 double-deckers and even a couple of ex-London Transport Chiswick-built low- bridge STL's at one time. Service 14 travelled outward via Trinity Street to Catisfield, returning via North Hill to Fareham Market. When this service ceased its licence was taken over by Gosport & Fareham Omnibus Company which then used highbridge AEC Regents, newly rebodied at Readings. The service was renumbered 17 and stayed that way until the 1980's. No 34 (BOR 766) was a regular performer on this route in the 1950s. Once the Deutz vehicles came into use they were regularly used on this route. This page contains a number of typical H & S vehicles.
